POWERBOAT GUIDE NOTES:

THE INTRODUCTION OF THE CROWNE SERIES IN 1991 WAS AN EFFORT BY CHRIS CRAFT TO RESURRECT THE COMPANY'S DECLINING FAMILY CRUISER SALES.  A DISTINCTIVE BOAT WITH HIGH FREEBOARD, THE 282 CROWNE OWES HER GRACEFUL APPEARANCE TO A MOLDED BOW PULPIT, A CURVED WRAPAROUND WINDSHIELD, CIRCULAR FOREDECK HATCHES, AND AN INTEGRATED SWIM PLATFORM.  BELOW DECK, THE COMPANIONWAY STAIRS ARE A SERIES OF WELDED STEPS THAT CREATE A MORE OPEN LOOK THAN THE USUAL MOLDED STAIRS.  THE MIDCABIN ACCOMODATIONS WILL SLEEP FOUR, AND THE ELEVATED FOREDECK PROVIDES GOOD HEADROOM IN THE CROWN'S MAIN CABIN.  THE U-SHAPED COCKPIT LOUNGE CAN SEAT SIX, AND THE STYLISH HELM CONSOLE IS A REAL EYE CATCHER.  A WET BAR IS STANDARD, AND FENDER RACKS ARE BUILT INTO THE SWIM PLATFORM.  ADDITIONAL FEATURES INCLUDE A FOLDAWAY HELM SEAT, WALK THROUGH WINDSHIELD, AND RADAR ARCH.

ALSO, PLEASE NOTICE THE SPACIOUS AFT CABIN!
